Session Description: We will be presenting on some strategies that we learned during our time at the Teachers College on their reading and writing workshop. We will provide a brief overview of the conference, present strategies to enhance reading workshop conferences, allow time to create toolkits, and discuss and share the many benefits of utilizing graphic novels in the classroom.
