Cross-Curricular Activities Inspired by the World Language Classroom

Come learn some French and leave with practical strategies to use in any subject! Participants will engage in activities to pre-teach vocabulary, create engaging opportunities for repetition through close-reading, and experience “brain breaks” to help alleviate the working memory. Lessons for Financial Literacy for K-12

Curriculum adheres to national standards. At the high school level, FMFCU offers lessons covering topics from budgeting to identity theft, using real-life simulations to provide concrete learning experiences. At the middle school level, FMFCU’s certified educators conduct hands-on lessons that encourage students to save their money and use it wisely. When educators from FMFCU visit elementary school children, they focus on the basic concept of Save, Share, Spend, Earn.
